CREATIVE EUROPE
La convocatoria del programa Creative Europe es dirigida especificadamente a los videojuegos como productos culturales independientes, por lo cual es muy importante que el mayor número de desarrolladores participen. Esta es la mejor manera de demostrar la enorme demanda de este tipo de instrumentos de financiación.
- Development - Video Games
- To who: Any game developer developing a video game concept or project presenting:
- high level of originality, innovative and creative value, cultural diversity and enhanced Europe's cultural identity and heritage compared to existing mainstream works
- high level of commercial ambition and extensive cross-border potential able to reach European and international markets
- How much funding is available:
- between EUR 10.000 and EUR 50.000 for concept development (supporting activities to the point that a playable game concept is realised);
- between EUR 10.000 and EUR 150.000 for project development (supporting activities to the point that the concept can be clearly expounded as a playable prototype).
- What is the funding rate:
- 50%
- Other key requirements:
- The applicant has to be an European company
- The applicant must prove it has produced a previous video game that has been commercially distributed during the two calendar years preceding the publication of the Call for Proposals
- The applicant must also own the majority of rights related to the submitted project.
- Applicant must be developing a game, no promotional material, multimedia art, development tools etc.
- No requirements for platform or expected distribution method, but in all cases the game must be intended for commercial exploitation.
- The game must provide substantial interactivity with a narrative component.

HORIZON 2020
- The first calls of Horizon2020 are now open. In addition to the calls summarised below, funding is available:

- ODI: Horizon 2020 SME Instrument for ICT
- To who: Any SME having a sound, ambitious, potentially disruptive but high risk innovation in their hands that is based on technology demonstrated in industrially relevant environment and that has a potentially "fast market up-take"
- How much funding is available: In phase 1, 50 000 € for a feasibility study taking 6 months; in phase 2, from 0,5 to 2,5 million "for bringing an innovation idea to industrial readiness and maturity for market introduction" taking from 12 to 24 months. Funding from phase 1 is not required for getting funding from phase 2.
- What is the funding rate:
- Phase 1: a lump sum
- Phase 2: 70% (/100%) +20% indirect costs
- Other key requirements:
- Only for-profit SME's, only one SME per proposal
- A list of up to five relevant publications, and/or products, services (including widely- used datasets or software), or other achievements relevant to the call content is required
- A list of up to five relevant previous projects or activities, connected to the subject of this proposal is required

- ICT-07: Advanced Cloud Infrastructures and Services
- To who: (a) Research and innovation funding is available for anyone doing research on high performance heterogeneous cloud infrastructures, on federated cloud networking, on dynamic configuration, automated provisioning and orchestration of cloud resources, on automated discovery and composition of services, or on cloud security.(b) Innovation funding is also available for actions related to platforms for trusted cloud systems
- How much funding is available: For (a)both small (EUR 2- 4 million) and large ( EUR 5 - 8 million) EU Contributions can be applied. For (b) only small.
- What is the funding rate: 100% for research +20% for indirect costs and 70% for innovation +20% for indirect costs
- Other key requirements:
- Three legal entities is required to make a proposal. Each of the three shall be established in a different Member State or associated country. All three legal entities shall be independent of each other.

- ICT-18 Support the growth of ICT innovative Creative Industries SMEs
- To who: The developers of innovative products, tools, applications and services (3D, augmented reality, advanced user interfaces, visual computing) with high commercial potential that are targeted for the creative industries SMEs. Proposals should be clearly driven by user-needs and demonstrate the market demand for the solution and the innovation potential. Solutions should be cost-effective, market-ready and target international markets.
- How much funding is available: Small (EUR 0,5- 1 million) EU Contributions can be applied.
- What is the funding rate: 70% +20% for indirect costs
- Other key requirements:
- Three legal entities is required to make a proposal. Each of the three shall be established in a different Member State or associated country. All three legal entities shall be independent of each other

- ICT-21 Advanced digital gaming/gamification technologies
- To who: (a) Game developers interested in multidisciplinary research experimentations and collaboration on advanced digital gaming technologies and components produced by and for the traditional digital game industry but applied into wider scenario of use in non-leisure contexts. (b) Furthermore, innovation funding is available for small scale experiments on digital games for learning and skills acquisition, and for empowerment and social inclusion.

- DS-01 Privacy
- To who: The focus is on the demonstration of solutions to protect individuals' privacy by default while empowering the users to set the desired level of privacy, based on a simple to understand visualisation of the privacy level, giving them control over how their data will be used by service providers. The activities may also cover tools facilitating the information of individuals about the processing of their personal data. Activities can include the investigation of measures to safeguard privacy in the context of mass data handling, for example where services exploiting big data, cloud services, data sharing by interconnected devices in the internet of things, and data handling in the highly sensitive context of criminal investigations.How much funding is available: EUR 2- 5 million EU Contributions can be applied.

- PHC-26-2014 Self management of health and disease: citizen engagement and Health
- To who: Proposals shall enable individuals to become co-managers of their health and wellbeing with the help of ICT, tools and personalised services. The focus should be on the following elements:
- The creation of a supportive environment for healthy behaviour including support to behavioural change e.g., mathematical, dynamic modelling of behaviour with quantitative, testable models especially in real world settings and application of the sciences in designing interventions or game based physical training with motion tracking based feedback
- Health promotion, health literacy and disease prevention;
- The development of a multi-stakeholder ecosystem to develop a 'co-production of health' business model – an evidence based, general, alternative way of creating and augmenting personalised health, supported by information exchange and utilisation and;
- A migration path towards comprehensive solutions that could be incorporated into health care processes.
- What is the funding rate: 100% for research +20% for indirect costs and 70% for innovation +20% for indirect costs
